But you do understand, don't you, that those "counters" are useless? They don't filter out your own visits, they don't filter out visits by search bots, and they don't filter out visits by the same person coming back multiple times. If a visitor opens one of the slide images, then comes back to the index page, that counts as another visit. In fact, if a visitor simply refreshes the page, that registers as another visit. Try it yourself. Visit one of your sites that's showing the counter, and hit F5 a few times - the counter keeps going up.
I don't know why anyone bothers showing this widget on his site. It's not actually telling you anything.
And I believe the jAlbum widgets probably violate the GDPR, and it's only a matter of time before some sharp-eyed EU lawyer starts demanding payments.

I have identified one situation in which the widgets need to be "kicked" before they appear. If you add an external album, but the widgets fail to appear, it is sometimes necessary to go to the profile page, edit the album (you don't actually have to change or save anything), then return to the profile page. Then, the widgets begin to appear.
