Odd. Please try this update. Put it inside jAlbum's "tools" folder:

Sorry. I should have done more testing. Here's an update.
(Sidenote: This tool is basically replaced by the MultiMaker)

Ah, this has been moved to the project's context menu. Just open the project's context menu then access "Monitor changes" and tick both "Make album" and "Upload". Now jAlbum's does this work in the background using the "Multi Maker". There is really no need for the external tool anymore. See "Project monitoring" under https://jalbum.net/blog/entry/jalbum-25-a-time-saver-for-power-users

Works like a chram.
Only quesation - is it possible to set wait time - f you add many many new images it seems to start making album right away before adding new images is finished.

That's a great feature request. Here's what I'd suggest:
- On detected changes, have jAlbum start a short timer, say 10 seconds.
- After this delay, if no additional changes have occurred, make the album. If there ARE new changes, start the timer again.
What do you think?

Well, I don't mean to interrupt this, but I for one, think a delaying timer would be a GREAT idea.
Could users be able to setup a delay time ?. and be one that would be remembered...

I think this approach is very logical. And useful.

I'll add a 3s delay, meaning that when there's been no further changes for 3s, then the make operation kicks in. I can't really see much need for this to be configurable, unless you manually add images to a folder one by one. Perhaps better to detect whether additional image were added during the make operation and then trigger another make?

Just thought I would ask, I often add 6 or 10 images to an album and then spend time organising their order and position within the album.
Do you think 5 seconds might be better, just to allow me some time before it all starts.
A delay is something I haven't mentioned in the past but am pleased its come up as it will be a very useful thing.
MultiMaker is working really well.
