Power line repair Neptune skin

Hi,

This may be of interest.

The power line to our back neighbors house was arcing and dropping molten
metal onto the ground. I took these pictures through my back bedroom window
as the repair crew arrived and built a platform up to the main line to replace the
the arcing line.

Thanks for sharing. I've now added power line repairman to the list of jobs I never want to have. I have enough trouble unplugging a lamp. And it's nice the way they use metal scaffolding to access the cable line. Perhaps, as the do in Asia, using bamboo would be preferred

I agree. In Sweden we always dig such cables in the ground.
