Wikipedia article on "jAlbum"

In response to a suggestion in another topic, I have made some changes to a Wikipedia article about jAlbum
There are probably more corrections that should be made, but maybe there should be some discussion about what should be added or changed.
e.g. The title should probably also reflect the name change from Jalbum to jAlbum, but there may be some follow-on problems regarding links to the article.

The information on the license is not quite what it is.
Free 30 day trial with credit links, perpetual for a version bought, subscription model for newer versions.

You can't just rename it, but you can move it.
But just editing the title would be OK.

I noticed that, too. If the Alexa ranking were some wildly low number, it would be worth mentioning. As it is, why bother? "We're number 205,203!!!"
I'd dump it.

Most of the content it is so out of date it either needs a rewrite or deleting and I do wonder how many hits that page normally gets and if it is worth doing anything to it. I’m not offering to do anything to it by the way

To me, it's a bit like some of the other anachronisms surrounding jAlbum. They can only hurt the business. But having a Wikipedia entry is probably a good thing because of the way they pop up in searches, often featuring prominently on the results page.
Now that I've emerged from my coding swamp, perhaps I will turn my attention to a more thorough rewrite. But Wikipedia's insistence upon proper sourcing takes me back to the dark days of first-year law school, and the required "legal research and writing" class.

Here is a list of proposed changes. If you have editing privileges, feel free to edit this post, or if you don't, make suggestions in a reply and someone else will edit this post
- Title - Replace "Jalbum" with "jAlbum"
- Intro - Remove "shareware" and update or remove usage stats.
- Software - Remove references to "Flash"
New license model from version 19:
You can purchase
(1) A Standard license to use on any computer to produce non-commercial albums for display on your own website, with one year of free support and updates.
(2) A Pro license to use on any computer to produce commercial or non-commercial albums for display on your own website, with one year of free support and updates.
(3) An annual license with unlimited free upgrades for as long as you have an active paid account for 10GB (Premium account non-commercial) or 100GB (Power account - commercial) of storage space on jalbum.net.
Use of jAlbum’s software and services is subject to terms and conditions [n] (where n is the reference number with a link to https://jalbum.net/terms-and-conditions)

It all needs rewriting I’m afraid. Examples:
‘with over 700,000 users hosting theirs on jalbum.net.[2].’ With ref 2 being a broken link and 700,000 users being what, from when it was free?
Other references broken, like ref 3
It is not like Picasa or Photos (which has replaced iPhoto).
You can’t really say it is a photo library as in ‘The software allows users to manage their photo collection, sorting photos into albums’
The hosting sizes are wrong, ref 5 says it is freeware etc.

Yes, it "all needs rewriting" - that is the point of this post.
... ‘with over 700,000 users hosting theirs on jalbum.net.[2].’ With ref 2 being a broken link and 700,000 users being what, from when it was free?
Already referred to in the list of suggested changes. Is there a current reliable source for these statistics or should they be just dropped?
... Other references broken, like ref 3

Can you refer to a better description, perhaps on jalbum.net?
The hosting sizes are wrong, ref 5 says it is freeware etc.
Can you refer to a jAlbum source for the correct hosting sizes?
Let's do what David would do - make Anders fix it.
I think it is too big a task to ask Anders - he is busy enough already
But "many hands make light work" - why not supply some suggested replacements here and improve the page "little by little". The page has been inadequate for a long time, another week or two won't matter very much.

Dropped, it is a moving target, maybe link to/reference activity http://jalbum.net/maps/downloads.jsp

It is possible to have all images in a project (as you would in a library) and then exclude unwanted ones, build an album and then repeat with a different set of images. However, in my opinion it is not a library manager, you would normally only organise images within a project and then create another separate project. You can reference https://jalbum.net/en/software/features
The hosting sizes are wrong, ref 5 says it is freeware etc.
Can you refer to a jAlbum source for the correct hosting sizes?

Would something like the following be a suitable replacement? (I am sure someone could improve the wording)
New license model from version 19: You can purchase
(1) A Standard license to use on any computer to produce non-commercial albums for display on your own website, with one year of free support and updates.
(2) A Pro license to use on any computer to produce commercial or non-commercial albums for display on your own website, with one year of free support and updates.
(3) An annual license with unlimited free upgrades for 10GB (Premium account non-commercial) or 100GB (Power account - commercial) of storage space on jalbum.net.
