Here's another suggestion:

If the user clicks the arrow next to "Make album", just show "Force remake" with a checkbox beside it. We don't need a "make changes" option.
In other words, the user can choose to generate the album. In addition, he can choose to force a complete rebuild (checked), or let jAlbum decide for itself (unchecked).
If jAlbum has decided that a full rebuild is necessary, it could automatically check the checkbox and protect it. This has the advantage that the user can see whether or not a full build will be done; maybe he wants to do other changes first, rather than waiting for this to complete.

Actually, on second thoughts, I underatand the rationale behind "make test".

I think I will back out of this discussion. I understand the different viewpoints. I don't have strong feelings either way.

I'm finding it does not always work, sometimes I get the new dialog window and sometimes I don't. For example, adding a copy of the Tulip image, from the Sample portfolio Nature folder, does not generate the new window. Same if I create an empty project and add one image, then add the same image again.

Looks like this fails with the move Java 13 as it works on jAlbum 19.0.6

The other area that would benefit from an auto-rename is collaborative albums, if at all possible. At the moment a file name clash results in an overwrite of the existing file. Though it might have to be just appending a number rather than a selection of choices as to what to do.

I know I said I was backing out; however.....

"Make album" has 3 options. Make All and Make Changes have explanatory tooltips. "Make album" also needs a tooltip.

I withdrew my draft suggestion. It is inaccurate.

I notice an early edit of that article by one ‘Jimberryau’, so I think I’ll leave this one for him ;)
I had quite forgotten that example of curmudgeonry :)

The sentence containing my correction of a trivial spelling mistake has since been deleted as no longer relevant.

I have now altered all occurrences of "Jalbum" to "jAlbum" (Except for the link to Jalbum logo.png, which resulted in its disappearance).

Later:
There are probably other changes/additions/deletions which should be made to the Wikipedia article. I will open a separate topic for that discussion.

The obvious change of the page name jAlbum is not allowed as pages can’t start with lowercase letters :(

Like the jQuery page?
Maybe the pagename can't start with a lowercase letter, but it seems the Title can.
