Hello
I'm trying to attach a 'jalbum' album to my local site.
Here is my approach: 1-I create a new page.
How do I select my album on my hard drive to integrate it to the new page for my local word press site?
I'am on mac el capitan 10.11.16

Hello again!
I receive this message .... yet I have checked and everything is correct.

Please check if the jAlbum album contains the tree.json file at the output folder. Turn on "Settings → Advanced → Metadata → Generate JSON Data" if not.

You can’t do it in a way that would work well, either link to the album or try using jAlbum’s bridge for WordPress

The link in question what is it? I work locally, on my computer, so the album is on my hard drive.

You need to add a hyperlink in your WordPress site to wherever you have your jAlbum generated album hosted. Some skins allow you to also add a link from your album to anywhere else, like your WordPress blog site.

If you just want to see the images from your album in your WrdPress blog then use jAlbum’s Bridge:

Hello
I worked from my site where it is hosted, and it works. However the images are distorted. Do you know why?
When I work in local mode, it does not work, I'm always looking for a solution to solve this problem.
I am used to working locally to avoid mistakes.

Are you still getting a JSON/Metadata warning in local mode, and are you viewing just the album’s index.html page in the root folder?

I'm going to move this thread to the forum section on the jAlbum Bridge. It really has nothing to do with the skin, or with uploading.

But also, we need a link to the live page. Screenshots are better than nothing, but you can't debug a screenshot.

I don't know why you are getting the metadata error message as all of the files are there. As Gromit has said, we need an actual page to look at the code and resources.

I'm beginning to think it's something like a MIME type error. We need to see the developer's console in a browser to sniff things out.

Okay. thank you!
The problem comes when I work in local mode only.
I did tests via the remote server, where my site is hosted on the web.
And everything works fine, except maybe the images are distorted, include bad proportions of the photographs.
Can you tell me please, how can I show you what you are asking from my local site?
I shipped links because I thought it was the only way to show you the settings of my work through my local site and you would tell me if that sounds ok, from the screenshots.

For local mode, you could zip up a small project and attach it here in the forum - just a couple of small images, enough to see the problem. We can then try that project on our machines.

For remote mode, only a link to the website will help.

It's not clear to me how we could see a Wordpress site locally. That requires server-side processing.

Do you mean the images you're seeing on your Wordpress page, or the images you're seeing when you view the album? If it's the latter, give us the URL of the album.
