To install tools and plugins open the 'configuration folder' by using either Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + C or Menu/Tools/Open directories/config.
Tools (.bsh) go in a 'tools' subfolder and extensions (.jaext) go in a 'ext' subfolder.
Tools are run from the 'Tools / External Tools' menu or the command line.
Most extensions are incorporated into the jAlbum GUI and usually appear in 'Edit' mode.
Some extensions are run from the 'Tools' menu or the contextual menu in ‘Explore’ mode.
