I make an annual trip to Clingmans Dome each fall when I believe that the leaves are at their peak. They never are, but still the Smoky Mountains are a force of nature and the photographs reveal it. A dense fog covered the mountain and the temperature was below freezing. The wind did the rest. Several miles down the mountain at New Found Gap things were normal.
These are photos taken of Sevierville, Tennessee. Sevierville is the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Most people only see the road which goes through the town to the national park. But beyond this is the nice little town where I live.
These are a series of photographs shot along the Little River in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Most, but not all, are reflections. The Little River flows through Sevier and Blount Counties, Tennessee.
