Born in a photographers’ family, after a long apprenticeship with the maestro Luciano Bonacini, Paolina became a professional photographer in 1996. Shortly afterwards she opened her first photo studio in Bologna. She’s a very versatile photographer, covering many genres from potrait to reportage, and has mastered a wide variety of analogue and digital techniques. Her exhibition "The Silver Dancers" was in 2006 in public galleries and studios in Brussels, Rome and Bologna, with introductions by the art critic Vittorio Riguzzi and by the writer Tommaso Ottonieri. Other exhibitions have been held in private spaces.
