I guess I need to implement this .japlugin file type I've talked about for the next release so installing a plugin is as easy as installing a skin.

It could make things more transparant for end-users. However, 2 things to consider: I think it is nice to be able to present the source code and the javadocs too // plugins can now be installed in 2 places: jalbum/ext & skin/lib, depending on their function. Or you have to be strickt: a plugin is something that creates a Tools- or Context menu entry.

I was intending a plugin to be something that uses Jalbum's plugin API, other additions being "support code"
