Election Night 2008, part II
Last modified: 10 years ago
I captured a couple several images on election night 2008 that I didn’t include in my celebratory photo blog post. I regret not doing so because the images are much more telling of the times that lay ahead.
Just a few blocks east of Rockefeller Center on Park Avenue stands St. Bartholomew’s Church. On the steps of the church were homeless people slumbering on cement. Here are some of the images that I captured.

On April 28, Marriage Equliaty New York (http://www.meny.us/) held their 12th Annual gala at Slate Restaurant in New York City.

This recognition comes from the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and it represents how important this issue is in our everyday lives.

ZviDance
Last modified: 11 years ago
Zvi Gotheiner is one of my favorite choreographers. I met Zvi almost ten years ago and on Thursday night, I was fortunate enough to photograph his annual fall dance benefit piece, Personals (2008). His work is amazing.
ZviDance is "a company comprised of athletic and lyrical dancers that blends contemporary aesthetics with lush, full-bodied movement."
Personals, set to "Tuxedo Moon" and "Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds," is brilliant, wonderful, amazing, mesmerizing, and sexy. Need I say more?
