In early spring the Great Crested Grebes (kuiffuten) are already very active in their mating ritual. They really show to be very much in love and have only eye for each other, giving me a chance to get relative close without disturbing them. Pictures made with a Canon 5D MK III and 500 mm IS L with 1.4 extender.
