I used 5MinutePhoto for horseshows and it is now out of business and I am unable to register the software after reinstalling it on the computer. I am looking for a solution in a hurry as I often have over 100 horses at an event and my season has started. I read a thread where someone used JAlbum but I am not sure how that would work. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.
jAlbum can create customized photo albums using a number of default and third-party skins, some of which include an integrated shopping cart option.
You can [browse the available skins| https://jalbum.net/en/skins/new] using keywords to select the features you will need for a "kiosk" style skin.

It appears that jAlbum is used by 5MinutePhotos to to host its albums.
With your current trial account, you should be able to test customising your albums and bypassing the involvement of a third-party altogether.
Hi Jim, Thanks for he reply. My problem with 5 Min Photo is the software shuts down after 30 minutes. I have the key but it won't accept it as there is no place for it to register as the website is gone. The developer died and no one has taken it over. I am not sure using a different album would help in this case. I need the functionality of a local web host and ease of use for the desk person and customers. The albums I have tested load fast. I really like that part!
Since 5MinPhoto was using jAlbum anyway, you should be able to repeat the functionality by using jAlbum directly. The help available in the jAlbum forums is exceptionally good, and I suggest you post your questions there ( https://jalbum.net/forum/index.jspa ), where it will access a wider audience, rather than on this specific group discussion.
Your galleries can be hosted anywhere you would like, they don't have to be hosted at jAlbum
