Jeff Larsen
Since I retired from a career as a photojournalist several years ago, bird photography has been my passion. To help compliment my craft I learned web design along the way. Early on jAlbum became a part of the process. After upgrading to a pro license recently I decided to incorporate slideshows generated by Turtle and BananAlbum skins into a fresh design of my bird photography website. The jAlbum gallery presentations add another fresh dimension to my photography. I still don't get the green frog face but it's a cheerful and easy-to-find shortcut on my desktop.

Rafal Michalak
Rafal Michalak – the photographer lives and works in Wrocław, Poland. Specialises in portrait and nude art, but street photography and everyday life coverage are also special interest to him. Human being as individuality and its place in the so fast altering world are the key factors of Michalak's photographic research. His artistic vision is mainly concentrated on women, who – as he claims – are much more intriguing then men – filled with mystery and ambiguity their souls seem to be more complex. For many years he has been professionally related to advertising industry and commercial photography. But in his own work Rafal Michalak prefers traditional and analogue photography methods, which in his opinion are a stronger photographic medium, yet capable of retaining subtle nuances and a multidimensional character of his works.

Erik Groundstroem
My name is Erik and I am an enthusiastic and professional photographer with a great variation of photo jobs. I photograph anything from barren cliffs at sunrise, to pure business presentations. In my work I try to bring my personal feelings in to my photographs. I also work with photographic education. I have private students and I am also a teacher at Kulturama, which is the biggest center in Sweden for esthetic education.
jAlbum is a very good and professional tool for photo presentation on the internet. In jAlbum you can password protect an album and therefore only a specific client/clients can see the photographs, without showing the photographs for the rest of the world. And when you want everyone to enjoy you photos, jAlbum makes that so easy as well. All you have to do is choose a skin that will present your photos in the best way and then just build your album. It's fast and the result is great looking! I use jAlbum and highly recommend it to my clients and students.

Artur Glogowski
My name is Artur Glogowski, I am an amateur photographer from Poland. Someone said that photography begins not in the camera but in the mind and the eye. I'm trying to bring the beauty of nature to light in a fresh way that can inspire others. Currently I'm working on a project called “30 kilometres from the Center”. This will most likely be an exhibition of my photographs taken at a distance of 30 km from the center of large cities – for now Polish – such as Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk. To see how my photos are received by a wider audience I started to search for appropriate tools, and so I landed on jAlbum.net. I had a very specific need, I wanted to find a portal where people can show their work and have the opportunity to comment and to track other users. I wanted also tools for creating different types of web galleries for the purpose of presenting them on other websites. All this I found on jAlbum.net, and therefore decided to publish my photos that will be included in the exhibition “30 km from the Center” at this portal. Positive comments and the number of people who follow my work regularly exceeded my expectations by far.

I was born in 1981 in Budapest, Hungary. My profession is organizing cultural events, doing marketing and film editing. Photography is my passion. I like walking with my eyes aware and take pictures of everything that I find interesting for some reason. It is also a pleasure to show things to people the way I see them and to transmit emotions with a well-shot picture. I find jAlbum to be very comfortable and my whole website is built on it. In addition I am happy that the skin I'm using was developed by a Hungarian programmer. This skin (Chameleon) is perfect for me, because it is really flexible and the design is clear. The Jalbum will be better and better, because it is all the time improve. I think the Jalbum is the best free gallery for building program on the Internet.

My name is Ludovic and I'm from Romania. I have been interested in photography since a very young age. First I was an amateur film photographer with my Zenit E. I started learning digital photography about 7 years ago. I’m a self-taught photographer without own studio. This is because I like working with natural light and therefore I don’t use many filters. I’m always out there trying to learn new techniques and skills. Photography has become a huge hobby and passion for me and I carry my camera everywhere. Right now I’m using Canon 50D and 40D digital camera. Personally I’m a fan of landscape/nature photography, to shoot nature and rural scenes. But still my main focus is portraiture. I like to portrait human beings, because they are always fascinating. JAlbum for me is recreation. Here are always new photos, new relationships, new reviews. It’s a great website! I like other people’s opinions about my works. Every opinion is a lesson for me!
