The Black Watch TrailThe cycling and athletics club of Holten found that their 70th Liberation Day deserve extra attention. For this reason, the associations decided to collect the liberation fire in May 2015 in Bayeux, Normandy, and bring it together in relay to Holten. The 800-kilometer-long enterprise, which was gone day and night, carries the name 'Black Watch Trail’, named after the Canadian Black Watch battalion that liberated Holten. The event was not be limited to only delivering a sporting achievement. During the route, there was also room for remembrance and reflection. The trail was broadly based; the population, various authorities, and other associations were involved.Visit the album: http://janscheperman.jalbum.net/The-Black-Watch-Trail/
