Some users have asked us for a minimalistic way to present albums on their home page that doesn't include the Jalbum header and footer for site navigation. Many of you are professionals who use Jalbum to display your portfolio. We now have a "Portfolio mode" for you! To activate, sign into your page, then go to settings and tick "Portfolio mode" (available on Premium and Power accounts only). Here are some users who already found this new feature:

@steenflemming: We don't have such a feature, but it's possible with some tweaking to your website. Contact me if you'd like to know more.

Hi Carl,

Thank you very much for answering my questions. I hope you will consider adding templates in the near future. I am sure many people will appreciate such option.

The logo in the top left corner is only visible in the "browse bar" which is there to help navigation to other albums and back to the home page. You can always click the "X" to make the browse bar dissapear. Then you will also see the direct URL (address) to your album, if you prefer to send that to your contacts.

Regarding other pages: not at this time. Since we are a photo album site (and not a general web site builder) we don't have plans to add that in the forseeable future.

Regarding customization: premium and power account users can customize their own home page templates with graphics and colors (see your settings page "Make your own theme"). The album skins can be customized any way you want. Most skins have lots of sub styles and more options in the skin tab in the Settings window in Jalbum software. Almost no skin or themes are frame based.

Thank you very much for your reply and for posting the samples of Premium and Power Accounts albums.

They look nice, but I still see your logo in the left top corner when looking at the albums. Is there a way to hide it?

Also is it possible to add more pages and link to other websites? What I mean is the option of adding pages other then albums, as well as more links to other pages in the navigation bar.

Regarding more customization, is there an option to change background colours and graphics of the templates? Are all your templates frames based? Do you have any non-frames templates available?

Further, to check out the different Album designs, have a look in the Skins section or simply browse different albums in the Explore section

@lightvision: You can see different themes in your Settings page and also how you can make your own theme. Portfolio mode strips a lot of the community functionality for signed out visitors to make a nice presentation. See the in the blog post for examples.

Thank you.
