Min. jAlbum Version
14.1
Beschreibung

Tiger skin is the successor of the popular Turtle skin, featuring responsive layout and inherited numerous features from Photoblogger skin too.

IMPORTANT! Please read this:

Local preview:
--------------
Testing the Local album (Preview) does not work in some browsers with the default settings. This is because Tiger is based on a database (JSON format) to which the access from local HTML files is limited, due to security reasons. jAlbum's built-in browser works, however. If you want to test in Chrome please read this sticky:
http://jalbum.net/forum/ann.jspa?annID=146

Switching from Turtle:
----------------------
Please note, as Tiger is based on a different language than Turtle, the function calls has changed too. Custom pages therefore might carry old code from Turtle skin, which causes errors.
Install the tool from here: https://jalbum.net/forum/thread.jspa?threadID=52475 to fix the old HTT files - if you had one - after importing a Turtle album into Tiger!

Hello All Small problem.Who can help me? One album with a content of more than 7000 pictures. When i start Jalbum and go to the Rugby album it will take 3 a 4 minutes to load (start) the skin. Question is there a quick way to fix this? Or is the album just to big? Regarts Gerard Spaans Sportsphotography The Netherlands www.gerardspaans.nl

Hi, hoping you can help. I have just received an email from PayPal informing me: "The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Council has mandated that online payment providers and ecommerce merchants upgrade their security protocols to TLS 1.2 by 30 June 2018, in accordance with the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)." They are stating that I am not compliant and have frozen my account until I am compliant. I only use Jalbum and your Tiger skin to process sales through PayPal. Please can I ask if you are able to assist me? Best Regards John

Hi. When I screen one of my Tiger albums published in jAlbum.net my iPad browser (chrome) does something weird. If the thin jAlbum banner at the top of the screen is open, the one that contains the link to go back to my album’s page, then the slides are not visible unless you scroll down a lot. It is as if the vertical dimension of the slide page was 5 or 6 times the normal dimensions of the iPad screen. The same happens when visualizing the slide show. This does not happen in my windows 7 desktop nor in my android phone. If I close the jAlbum banner the issue dissapears, but then it is not possible to return to the albums page on my jAlbum account page directly. Have you noticed this issue? If yes, is it somethingI need to change in any of my settings or is it your code?

Hi, thanks for calling my attention. It seems this is the problem of the embed code that tries to add the jalbum bar above albums. On normal devices the screen height is calculated properly, but it seems the iPad reports the page height (the thumbnails) as it it was the screen height. We'll try to fix this as soon as possible.

Either include the originals in the album (Settings / Pages / Link to originals via scaled images) or if those are too large add an "extra size" through the "Settings / Tiger / Site / Extra / Extra sizes" box, e.g. 1200x1200.

Thanks, I tried the link to originals, even uploaded the originals but when I viewed the image I did not have the option to download. I will try your second option.

It's on the Info panel below. Make sure that "Settings / Tiger / Site / Extra / Right click protection" is not enabled, because that option stops downloading the images.

Transitioning from Turtle to Tiger: You had a page of tips that included info on differences in sizing of images, e.g., thumbnails, the image at the top of an album, etc. Can't find it. I suggest you make that a permanent link at the top of the Tiger info page . . . something like "Turtle to Tiger" transitioning. /Roger
