One of the key findings from our recent user survey was that a lot of you are having problems with finding a suitable skin for your albums. This gave us the motivation to finally do something that we have postponed for the last four years – a complete rewrite of the skins section of our site!
Improved search
The new skins section gives a better overview of the available skins and it also includes a new way to find skins using the "Search by feature" function.
Better commenting
The commenting system has also been improved. You will now find a threaded comments view, similar to the one found in your guestbook, on each skin page. This makes life a lot easier for skin developers plus you'll also be notified when a skin developer replies to your comment (previously you had to manually check for replies).
Ratings = Likes
The old skin rating system was unjust and easy to abuse. It has now been replaced with a simple "Like" system. Now you can show your appreciation of a skin by simply "Liking" it. The old skin ratings have also been translated into likes (3 stars or more = 1 like).
