The new Jalbum.net site is all about making things easy and fun to work with. That's why we decided to change "Favorites" to "Likes". If you find an album interesting or inspiring you can show your appreciation by a simple click. You can "Like" an album when viewing it with our browsebar or by moving your mouse over an album thumbnail image on the site. When you "Like" an album, the album owner is automatically notified (and probably happy about it) and you are automatically following any updates or activities such as comments on that album.
We have also changed "Contacts" to "Follows". If you like what a particular photographer is publishing you can easily subscribe to updates by Following him/her. You'll find a "Follow" button on each users home page. You can also see who is following you. In a way, they are your fans.
