Green DesignCPLIGHTING has a long tradition of recycling, er-use adn re-context in our work. Since 1993, we have been actively promoting our 100% post-consumer acrylic that we recycle in-house and salvage locally. The process is quite low tech and involves very little waste and no chemical intervention thus keeping a very clean footprint and and very little material let back into the waste stream. The newGROWTH series is made from post-consumer aluminum pipe salvaged from a local scrap yard. Our famous Cup + Saucer lamps are constructed from vintage melmac dinnerware, found mainly at resale stores and tag sales and repurposed into whimsical lamps. Most of the early furniture output was constructed from found metals. The most recent furniture addition, the six4 Barstool, uses reclaimed bamboo flooring for its seat and back -- making for a double dose of sustainability in its construction. All of our fixtures involve a fair degree of hand work and many incorporate random form as a design feaure allowing for serial production of one-of-a-kind objects. 访问相册: http://cplighting.jalbum.net/Green%20Design/
