Install skin

Click "Install skin" and choose to open with the Jalbum application.

You can also install the skin by unzipping
this file into the skin folder.

Description:
ShowLite was the first skin to combine Jalbum's automatic web building capability with the presentation ability of Lightbox type javascripts. Note this skin can produce slide pages (optional) or just lightbox images or both. It allows for lots of (optional) written detail, information or comments.

A blending of Jalbum's ShowOff skin with the Lightbox effect originally developed by Lokesh Dhakar. Click a thumbnail, background darkens and image appears. Click on file name below thumbnail for a slide page. HTML is well documented and skin is small and easy to modify. Validates as 4.01 Transitional.

Make sure to read the included "about.txt" file and view the sample file.

ShowLite version 2.0.5:

Tweaks and other improvements. Corrects issue where IE would not display lightbox image in preview mode-conflict apparently with "suppress IE warnings" and current lightbox script. (no issues using FireFox and no issue even with IE when published-only on local preview)

August 6, 2009: Internet Explorer 8 (at least) no longer likes direct previewing of ShowLite203. If you try to preview locally using IE8 (directly off your pc), the "lightbox effect" will not work. It will work in FireFox (all versions all the time) and will even work in IE8 AFTER the album is published. To get around this for now, you must first UNCHECK the selection box in Settings > Advanced > Metadata > Suppress IE Warnings before making your album. Version 205 will be issued within a week with a version 206 a few days later. V206 uses a different lightbox engine and by-passes all the warning crap from IE. I do not find that lightbox quite as robust although I think it looks a little nicer. Both do about the same thing (while 205 has keyboard navigation, both have slide shows and both are highly configurable). All versions are "freeware" for private, non profit and/or commercial use.
