Install skin

Click "Install skin" and choose to open with the Jalbum application.

You can also install the skin by unzipping
this file into the skin folder.

Description:
Based on the original Matrix skin and the DevalVR panoramic viewer. This viewer is available only for Windows platforms. There is no Mac or Linux version.

- Intended for the display of equirectangular panoramic images. It can handle flat horizontal panoramic images, though not always gracefully. Flat vertical images are not supported.
- Provides a simple, clean user interface, with navigation options and thumbnails presented in a consistent style.
- User control over the DevalVR parameters.
- Allows extensive control over captioning options (titles, comments, filenames, tooltip popups, image count, "New" label).
- Configurable link to external page, configurable uplink from main page, selectable jump link from deeper folders to main index.
- Uses fixed-height thumbnail boxes, where possible.
- Allows the user to choose any color combination, or to use one of several predefined styles. The ability to use custom colors makes the skin easy to integrate into an existing website. User may also apply background image/texture files to the pages, and insert a logo image at various locations on the page.
- Allows the user to select a font and a "fallback" font family, and to select font size, weight, style, and variant for each design element.
- User-configurable language support.
- Thumbnail image filters for grayscale, fixed-shape, zoom.
- Copyright notice, description, support for multiple headers and footers.

MatrixPano version 2.4.1:

* THIS RELEASE REQUIRES JALBUM 8.5.1 OR BETTER.
* A service release to correct an IE8 title centering issue when using a logo in the title bar.

Sadly, the DevalVR pano viewer is not available in a version for the Mac. The developer indicated that he would work on it, but that was over a year ago. I suspect someone needs to ship a shiny new MacBook to him, so he will have a platform on which to do the development.

Wow - that's really cool EarlyOut! It doesn't seem to work in Safari and FF on Mac though - it asks for Quicktime, and I have already have that installed. I tried it on a PC and it worked fine. Any clue why it doesn't work on Mac? Great new addition to the skin selection!
