I recently took part in and immensely enjoyed the London to Brighton Bike Ride on Sunday 15th June 2008. This is an annual event to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, so for men over 40, sponsorship was maybe more of an investment!
The album I created has an "entry" page, ie, it starts with a single, large image & associated informational text. This acts as a focal point, gives the opportunity to set the background and requires the user to respond before proceeding to view further into the album. There are a few ways to do this; a suitable folder structure with a double-pass build to effectively enlarge the top-level folder thumbnail; using the Enhanced Image feature; using the Blog Style layout.
The first 2 don't quite give the control that the Blog Style layout does.

MarkE uploaded Skiing in Flaine, 2008
Some images and video from this years long weekend skiing in Flaine, Grand Massif, French Alps, 28 Feb - 3 Mar 2008. An interesting addition to the Chameleon album is the use of PositionMap to give an interactive piste map. However, I personally prefer the Chameleon skin (rather than the BluPlusPlus appearance which PositionMap is based upon), so a bit of simple jiggery-pokery was required to get it all to fit together. Overall, I think it works OK.
Please note that the Interactive Piste Map uses the same images & video, it's just an alternative interface.
