ShowLite 3.3.9

It seems reality got lost in the last version as a gif was missing, there was a bad style sheet selection and some validation errors surfaced along with a few alignment issues and appropriate design concerns. All now fixed and appropriately noted in the about.txt file. Index, slide and each style sheet (there are six styles) and page have been validated again as proper and correct and single to multi level deep folders have been individually tested in Chrome, FireFox and IE7/8. This remains a simple, yet sophisticated "Lightbox" type skin.

The number of options on the skin's GUI to better control thumbnail spacing, slide page thumbs (number and size) and text fields has been increased. Also a few other tweaks that escape me for now. Overall, I would say a much improved version. It is still highly recommended you read the included about.txt file.

A combination of improvements. The code has been cleaned a bit, a sub folder bug fixed and Google navigation automatically added at bottom of index page if and when rows exceed six (avoids excess scrolIing up and down). Skin will also now recognize jAlbum donors and allow them to "exclude credits" normally shown on bottom of page. A big add, from the ever creative mind of JimBerry, is Side Note capability. You can now add text to the slide pages directly via the jAlbum edit window (separate txt files not required, no extra files in any original's folder-just like the sister Vertical Slide skin-another Jim Berry contribution). GUI expanded to allow user easy capability to adjust thumbnail spacing-tighter or wider formations. Suggestions welcomed. Enjoy.

Eradicated all known bugs, improved some code and changed lightbox engine. There are now commercial use guidelines-please read the included about.txt file. Does the same as before, but looks a little nicer and can remain very simple to use (skin can be readily and extensively customized if you like to read). The sample album has not yet been updated although it shows all capabilities. You can now skip creating slide pages or skip using the lightbox feature. You can also select only certain originals to upload and you have the ability to just about write a book about each photo (like how taken, what you were trying to accomplish, who is in the photo, etc).

Tweaks and other improvements. Corrects issue where IE would not display lightbox image in preview mode-conflict apparently with "suppress IE warnings" and current lightbox script. (no issues using FireFox and no issue even with IE when published-only on local preview)

Adjusted for 8.1 (and above). This uses a new "rootPath" code (can return to album index from any sub level directory), allows for Polar Rose (was not transparent within Lightbox) and Widgets in general. One can also now optionally eliminate the lightbox effect via the skin's GUI (or eliminate the slide pages via the Navigation tab). For Jalbum versions 8.0.9 and earlier, use ShowLite 201 (there is no 202!)

New, free (Creative Commons-private and or commercial use) and highly configurable lightbox engine created by Justin Barkhuff. Includes slide-show and keyboard navigation, slide or no slide page ability, EXIF and IPTC data, custom text box, selected original images selection, new file and folder titles, etc, extra style sheets, lots of documentation, validates in HTML and CSS, yada, yada. Try it, it's free ;-)

Much improved version with valid 4.01 and css. Now handles subfolders and direct links to slide pages and other nice stuff that should have been in the original release. Note this skin produces almost two different albums, click thumb or click file name under thumb for different effect.
