BananAlbum 6.2.4

Made changes to ensure compatibility with the new Jalbum v10.3.

Fixed a typography issue with the 'Default' style.

Fixed the issue where captions weren't shown properly.

I've packed v6.2 with a new style: 'Landscape'. This new style features a horizontally oriented design. The best choice for panoramic pictures.

Some more text issues fixed (when creating a text page) and I've added some variables to the advanced settings panel (you can now specify the width/height of your album).

Since jAlbum 9 the white lines in the descriptions appeared as two white lines. Fixed it! As well as the color of the description which was showing up in black all the time.

Updated the 'text' functionality of the Default style. You can now specify the width manually. See 'custom menu items' documentation for more info.

Fixed a bug where the description didn't appear when using a custom typeface with the Default style.
And it will now load the first folder when the home page is empty, like it used to.. I broke it when introducing scrolling functionality to the menu. (Default style)
The 'Positioning variables' are now also being applied when re-opening a project.

I've massively improved the settings panel!

Update: the mobile viewer now shows a non-scrollable version when loaded in an iFrame. You can just click the image to advance to the next. That sure is a lot more convenient!

I did some updates to the styles and the various styles now activate their own specific color scheme.

I've updated the mobile (iPhone compatible) viewer.

I made some changes in the way the album is being embedded in the page (wmode now set to opaque). This fixes the erratic behaviour when going in full screen with firefox v3.6.8.

You can now specify the render quality... It's switched off by default for best performance, but for best image quality, switch it on!

Internet Explorer visibility issues resolved. Support for image transparency added.

Better widget support. Please note that it's either more accurate color display, or the widgets...

I've added two thumbnail styles ('bounds' and 'surface') and I've fixed some UTF-8 encoding issues.

Those 'special characters' issues keep on bothering me. Some people experienced issues when using spaces in folder names.

Some additional fixes concerning special characters. And the menu now opens and closes smoothly (if there are any sub-folders in there...).

I've fixed a bug which was related to the special characters 'fix' in v6.1.1. This bug caused an error when generating an album with sub-folders.

I've fixed some issues which occured when having filenames with special characters. There's a new typeface to choose from (when using the 'Default' style): 'non-Latin'. You should select this typeface when you're using Chinese, Russian, etc. characters.

Some fixes and updates to the Default style: Tools now have a roll-over color! Folder titles will now be shown in the menu. User Variable added: 'loop'. You can set it to 'false' if you don't want it to return to the first image when the last image in the sequence has been reached. Updates to the settings panel: I've added an 'About' tab with links to the forum and the documentation.

Some minor bugs have been fixed (donut loader, default style) and you can now use the user variable 'loadfirstifempty' (true/false).

Some backgroundimage parameters added: scale (true/false), constainproportions (true/false). When loading the videoPlayer as first 'image' the album won't stall. Direct download functionality (php) fixed!

Some minor fixes: bug fix with the backgroundimage tiling functionality, menu positioning settings added to the BananAlbum positioning tab, bug fix when using a header.

I've added the possibility to choose from a selection of typefaces in the BananAlbum 'more' settings panel and the color settings will now be remembered when saving your project.

The update to v6.0.6 is massive. I've added some new styles and created a new default style. With this new style I've changed the lay-out and one big advantage is that you can now specify the size of the typeface and incorporate your own typefaces! The default transition is set to 'none', I like it snappy! You can always set it back to 'smooth' in the BananAlbum settings panel.
I've also added the possibility to choose various color schemes to the BananAlbum settings panel!

I've added an 'enable menu' select box to the BananAlbum settings panel and I've improved the download functionality.

I've added a new style called 'rounded' and I've made some improvements in the BananAlbum settings panel.

With BananAlbum v6.0 you can choose various appearances. By appearance I mean the kind of menu used, the typefaces, icons, etcetera. These appearances are called 'styles'. As time goes on I'll be adding more and more 'styles' as well as handy 'plugins', such as an audio-player, an exif-info-viewer, etcetera.
I've also changed the file structure. You've got three files: settings.xml, album.xml and menu.xml. That's a lot more convenient then all data being put together in one single file!

Flash Player and Javascript detection implemented!

Some minor improvements.

The first album from the menu will automatically be loaded when there are no images in the main album. So your album won't start with an empty screen!

I've changed the default colors and the transition is now more smooth. You can select the previous transition called "classic" from the BananAlbum Expert settings tab in JAlbum.

Improvements: autostart slideshow bug fixed, doubleclick check added to the menu/BananaTree, so clicking like a maniac won't cripple the album!, autohide thumbs functionality improved..., background image bug fixed.

Some minor improvements.

v5.0! Updates: download image using right mouse button, full screen mode! (press right mouse button, Flash Player 9 required), show thumbnails in a 'grid', show active thumbnail with a bar instead of a hairline around it, improved movement of the thumbnails, add your logo! (see my weblog), etcetera.

This is a skin update only... Nothing has changed to the Flash file, so it's still BananAlbum v4.1.1. I've added an improved version of the arial typeface and the posibility to create your own typefaces. See my weblog for more info.

With v4.1.1 (not v4.2) BananAlbum got rid of one bug which could appear when albums were filled with a lot of images. I've also made some changes to the JAlbum GUI.

Updates: optimized thumbnail movement, background tiling, date as label, upgraded advanced preloading, etc, etc.

BananAlbum v4.0 has a lot of new functionality, such as image preloading, background image (fullscreen or tiled), autohide the thumbnails wherever they are, advanced positioning posibilities of all elements, improved slideshow functionality, improved download functionality (php), crop the thumbnails, improvements to the JAlbum GUI, optimized for the latest Flash Player, workaround for the annoying 'Click to Activate' (Internet Explorer) implemented, etc.
