While my style and subject matter is varied, my main interest is in illustrating for children (and adults who are still young at heart). I like to incorporate a high degree of whimsey and humor to each image, particularly in facial expressions and postures of animated subjects. The media I use varies from hand sketches in pen, pencil, and watercolor to computer-generated art, but my preference for story illustrations is a combination of pencil sketches with computer coloring which allows sufficient flexibility to make adjustments to suit the clients' needs.
