- Description
Skin originally developed by Jeremy Wilker for iView Media Pro (vs. 1.5). Adapted for Jalbum by Andreas Häne.
I wrote this skin because I was looking for an alternative to iView Media Pro. Now I use GraphicConverter (Mac only; for Windows use IrfanView instead) to write IPTC data to each photo and Jalbum to create the web gallery.
Features:
• Available in English and in German. Fully localizable.
• Possibility to add the following to the index page:
- a link to go back to your home directory.
- an additional text/a link.
• Possibility to add the following to every slide page:
- comments (IPTC caption, JPEG comment, external text file)
- a link to go back to the parent directory.
- author/photographer (IPTC By-line)
- date (EXIF date/file modifikation date/current date)
• Slide page preloads next image.
• Clickable images for easy navigation.
• Original images open in a new pop-up window.
• Possibility to make good-looking albums of albums (collections of albums).
• Partially CSS-based.
• Including six different styles.New styles and localizations are most welcome.

• There is now an option to omitt the navigation bar in the slide pages. To navigate, use clickable images instead (since version 1.2).
• Adds the possibility to the album of albums to make a link to your homepage.
• Creation of new styles now becomes even easier. Just duplicate the standard folder and the standard.css file, rename and modify them as desired. The buttons used in the navigation bar can easily be exchanged as the dimensions and the aspect ratio of the new buttons do not matter.
• Now comes with five new styles to show the ease of style creation.

This version includes the possibility to make good-looking albums of albums (i. e. collections of albums). This means that Postcard now can handle subfolders in JAlbum.

The index page now offers the possibility to add a link to go back to the parent page. The name of this link is freely editable.

New clickable images: A click on the left side of the postcard image brings you back to the previous image, a click on the right side takes you to the next image. If you click on the top centre, you go back to the index page. In case of imbedded original images, a click on the bottom centre opens the original image in a new (pop-up) window.

Now opens original images in a new pop-up window. In case of deactivated javascript, original images open in ordinary new browser windows.
