New things:
- User interface option for top and bottom panel default visibility. (Please note, that visitor's choice takes precedence over the album's, but only retained for one hour.)
- Added Yellow style
- On the the last page you can decide where to go next: Start over | Go up | Stop
Changed:
- The animation is now smooth instead of elastic
Bugfixes:
- Several IE-related bugs has fixed
- Filenames with accented or other non-websafe characters work now. In IE some chars still not work from the local disk, but o.k. from the server. (Make sure to use Jalbum's 'Force UTF-8' while uploading such files)
Sorry Guys, some features are not yet working in Jalbum 8.6 - I based my development on 8.6.1.
For those who want to experiment with the beta version of Jalbum 8.6.1 can download the following file and save into Jalbum's lib folder.

Hi Laca, I'm looking at both this and the Turtle skin, and actually this one is much closer to the look I'm trying to use. Is there a way to disable the animated display of an image when you click on it? In other words, just have no transition or perhaps a fade out/fade in? Thank you again! Jerry

Many thanks Laca I have found the problem. I have installed the version 8.1. When I click on the button „help“ the popup menue swho me: I have the newest version. But on the web they are a new version 10.3.1. Within this version I can install some skin’s. My question: But why I can’t upgrade the version 8.1 with 10.3.1? Must I buy the version 10.3.1 with a licenze? (I have a licenze of version 8.1) Regards mailcom

There's no right click protection in the current Compact skin yet, but I am working on the completely rewritten 2.0 version, which will have this feature.

I can't install some Skyn. (Copmpact/Arte Frame/ Base etc.) See below the message when I open the program. Evaluation error on line 22: Details: Sourced file: inline evaluation of: ``import se.datadosen.component.*; import se.datadosen.jalbum.event.*; import se . . . '' unknown error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

Make sure you have the latest jAlbum version. Some skins require new functions that missing from the old application versions. (I don't know much about Arte Frame, but heard some complaints about)
