Is it possible to have a slideshow option and music behind it? Is this something really hard to make happen? FotoPlayer does it but I don't like the way it is set up. Thanks for that help! :)

Hi there,

You can use Autoviewer from the same guy who made Simpleviewer. Works well, although the pro version would be nice so you can customise it fully.

On my website is my example of adding the slideshow. Check out: http://www.completefitness.com.au/photos

Not sure about music though, but that would be nice :)

It's been some time since you posted. But in case you are still interested - and for other simpleviewer's benefit (since I've been digging around for a while for it) - please check out the tool at http://www.lazaworx.com/tools/addmusic/.

The tool works by adding a default.html page that includes a music frame and that wraps around your index.html file. This doesn't quite work with simpleviewer because simpleviewer index.html already has frames. So you will need to modify the simpleviewer index.html page a little. The change is relatively easy to make, requiring one or two lines of frame code at most.

For an example of a simpleviewer site with music player generated by the tool mentioned above, you may check out http://graceallen.hiddenharmonies.net/wedding/bellagio_ceremony/simple_viewer/index_music.html for an example.

Hope this helps...

Seeing as this old thread has already been bumped, I should add that the SimpleViewer skin now supports background music in the form of a MP3 track played using Dewplayer v1.9 from http://www.alsacreations.fr/dewplayer
The user has the option via the skin's 'Dewplayer' tab to choose a path to an MP3 track or to pick a track from a local drive that will then be automatically copied across into the generated album. The player itself can be positioned anywhere on the page.
No tweaking of code is required after the album is generated.

Hello Razyl.

Great site, I am trying to make exactly same thing like yours, Would you donate your .jab file to me? So I can inspect how did you do it, that will be tremendous time saving for me, if you don't mind. You can mail me at http://www.baytan.org/album/cbaytan.html which is a test site now., there is a mail link there.

Thanks for considering.
Can Baytan.

I'm afraid that even if you had Razyl's jap file, you wouldn't be able to replicate Razyl's site using just Jalbum and the SimpleViewer skin.
The site wasn't created with the skin alone (if at all).
It looks like SimpleViewer Pro was used (no download link in bottom right hand corner). All versions of the SimpleViewer skin use the free (non-Pro) version of SimpleViewer.
Also, the JavaScript navigation tree is the only method of changing galleries when using the skin and there is a completely different method employed in Razyl's site.

You can have the thumbnails in the same layout as razyl's site by selecting the skin's 'Viewers/SimpleViewer' tab and then, in the 'Thumbnails' control panel, set Columns to 7, Rows to 1 and Position to 'bottom'.
