Finally ready to share my site

For many years I have been working on a site that displays all my images. This mostly for my own benefit. Hopefully my (grand) kids will appreciate it sometime in the future. So far the site contains well over 5,000 images organized in 7 sub sites.
I started this project using long forgotten software on an early mac. Then I switched to several different WIN packages including many versions of WordPress. In between I tried various versions of jAlbum. Now I am committed to jAlbum and plan no further changes.

My present computer is a home built Hackintosh running Mojave.

My work starts in Lightroom. All editing and texting is done there. Then I simply drag(!) images (text and comments included) to jAlbum. My Hackintosh is fast and has lots (48GB) of memory so it processes even my larges project (4,800 images) very fast.

Take a look and tell me what you think:

Finally thanks to all the people (jGromet in paricular) that has helped me on this board.

Heisan Arne,

thanks for sharing your pictures. What I really liked, because this is very rare, that you have comments for most of your pictures. This makes it worthwhile watching them and learn something about the situation. Especially your Hurtigruten trip 2018 was nice watching. Norway is certainly my absolute favourite country. I run a public album which is exclusively dedicated to Scandinavia, mainly travelling to Norway.

Hilsen, Markus

The main reason fro going back to jAlbum from WorldPress was that jAlbum handles LR Titles and Captions in a predictable manner. Captions are not dealt with this way in WorldPress.
