Where can I influence the slider, so that in some pictures not the heads are cut off?

You have to crop those pictures so the focus is on the heads.

That means, I have to crop the pictures in Photoshop first? Have I understood that correctly?

No, in jAlbum. Edit mode -> Crop (4th icon in the bar): this will affect only the output images.

But I do not want to crop my pictures in the gallery. This will be done in advance in Photoshop. Had thought that I somehow the frame, which is displayed in my screen shot must move.

The crop focus (right-click -> Crop focus) is used only for the theme image and thumbnails, but not for the slide images which are used in the slider. If you want to use the image both in the album and in the slider you have to use "only for slider" option and add the images for the slider separately, and crop them to look nice.

So I have to double the original and then use only for the slider?

Yes, rename the copies, and add them to the album again. Now you can crop them as you wish.
