If I use Upload/Manage to connect to my web host, and try to delete an album, I get a console dump:
Exception in thread "DirectoryDeletingThread" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/management/MBeanRegistrationException
	at se.datadosen.jalbum.RemoteFSWorkers.<init>(RemoteFSWorkers.java:36)
	at se.datadosen.jalbum.UploadBean.doDeleteDirectory(UploadBean.java:169)
	at se.datadosen.jalbum.UploadBean.deleteDirectory(UploadBean.java:262)
	at se.datadosen.jalbum.UploadBean.deleteAlbum(UploadBean.java:229)
	at se.datadosen.jalbum.JPublishWizard$PublishStep$2$1.run(JPublishWizard.java:868)
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.management.MBeanRegistrationException
	at java.base/java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)
	at java.base/java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
	at java.base/java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
	... 5 more
No problem deleting files one at a time - this occurs if I try to delete any directory or subdirectory.

ETA: No problem on my jalbum.net account.

In fact, the only way to delete an album on my web host is to pull up FileZilla and delete it. There's virtually no way to do it from within jAlbum.

Looks like yet one more example of side effects of missing Java code in the underlying JVM. I still can't reproduce this one. What connection type are you using?

Can you mail me some connection details so I can try reproducing this against your server?

Thanks jGromit! Now fixed in 17.1.1 (requires re-installation as the underlying Java needed to be updated)

Windows is demanding that I remove 17.1 manually first - a little installer glitch....

The JPG's and MP4's are very stimulating, but the animated GIF's are hilarious.
