jAlbum 17 Problem uploading album

Attachment JA upload.jpg (62.7 KB)
Since jAlbum 17, I have a problem with uploading an album to my personal server. On the screen, I get a message "Geen werkmap geselecteerd" ("No folder selected", or something like that), and the button Uploaden doesn't work. See the screenshot.

I also noticed the Advanced button isn't working.

By the way: I managed to upload the album with a FTP-program, so I think there is nothing wrong with the server.

Assuming that the parent folder of the selected folder is representing the root of your web site, right click it and select "Mark as web root", then again select the folder to upload to. Now it should work.

I'm sorry, this doesn't work (or I do something wrong): I get an error message: JAlbum doesn't get access to this website.

The strange thing is: uploading did work fine until the last update of JAlbum.

David, this is the same ECDH key pair problem we're seeing with web locations. When I try to set the web root on my own SSL site, the console dump tells the story:

This is a known problem in jAlbum 17.1. For now, the only real workaround is to do your uploading using an FTP client program like FileZilla.

David - It's even worse than I thought. I can't use the jAlbum uploader to upload an album to my own web host at all. It simply can't access an SSL site.

The latest 17.1 release seems to have cured this, but we need to hear from the original poster.

Still getting a console dump when uploading an album, though it doesn't seem to be causing any visible problem:

Now fixed in 17.1.1
