Actually, the way I want to use theme images in the skin I'm working on, I may actually need to "do my own thing." In short, I don't want the theme image to be cropped at all. I'll have to think this one through....

Edit: Maybe subclassing ThemeImageProcessor?

That's what is done in the init.bsh code for M-ThemeImageInherit2 in the link above - I think!

I just don't know how to put together a custom subclass that ignores the crop filter.

To clarify, are you after a theme image that is cropped and a full-size image to be used for the background, or the theme image only to do both things?

Problem solved by taking a different tack. The theme image routine was doing me too many "favors" that I didn't want in this case. Easier to do something else, rather than try to torture the theme images into doing what I wanted.
