You will have to provide a link to the album so others can try to help.

You can however try checking Settings > Advanced > Metadata and make sure you've checked the first box in the lower section, Include photographic data in generated pages.

If that is already checked try reading this post http://jalbum.net/forum/thread.jspa?messageID=321057&#321057

Either you've copied the API key incorrectly, or you've restricted the key to a specific domain, but are trying to use it on another domain, or the key hasn't been activated - see the link RobM posted. One more thing - you may just have to clear your browser cache.

(If the metadata settings were wrong, the skin wouldn't show any map links at all, so that can't be the issue.)

The Javascript console is coming back with this error:

Google Maps API error: DeletedApiProjectMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#deleted-api-project-map-error

And going to that link tells the story - it appears that your API has been deleted from the console (at Google).

I'm not sure what that is - it looks like a path to a file on a camera. In any event, you've apparently gotten something wrong in the skin's Caption template area. Please attach your project file - jalbum-settings.jap.

And why i have this strange characters in map below (Tiger7.jpg).

That's familiar, but I can't remember what causes that problem. I'm heading out for the evening shortly, so I'll have to return to this later. Perhaps someone else remembers what the problem was the last time we saw this - something about language localization.

It is the same as I reported in the admin forums on 10 March this year, under Google Maps integrated in jAlbum's Edit mode. It seems it was a ‘Mac’ thing and related to a missing API key. Quote from 11 March “The weird text display some of you got instead of the map was due to a missing API key. Google allowed some accesses without the API key, but eventually it's then required.”

It would seem then that there is still a problem with the API key for this album/domain.

Yup, that's the one. Under Album > Settings > Advanced > Metadata, you're telling jAlbum to look for a comment as xmp metadata, and if it doesn't find anything there, look at the IPTC Caption. So, for the image in question, you must have some weird, unwanted metadata in there. In the main jAlbum Explore window, right-click on a thumbnail and choose List metadata. That will show you what metadata are buried in the image. Unless you're intentionally putting captions into metadata, I would check only the jAlbum (Text file) box in that section.

I notice that you're also telling jAlbum to include the photographic data in the generated images. If you just want to display that information in the album, it doesn't need to be embedded in the processed images. Including it in the processed pages is sufficient. Adding that info to the images themselves can cause problems, so unless you have a very good reason for wanting to do that, I'd advise turning that option off. (Including the xmp metadata in the images isn't as problematic.)
