Only Background Color Setting Option for BananAlbum

Hello,
I am using Jalbum 13.3, BananAlbum 7. In Album Settings, when I click on the settings for BananAlbum I only have the option to change the background color (see the attached). No other setting options appear.

Thanks-
Anna

That is, in fact, the only settings option in the newest version of BananAlbum.

Just be aware that the older versions produce Flash albums, which are not viewable on any mobile device - iPad, iPhone, Android.

Yes, seems best to stay with the newest version. Thank you.

I changed the menusize and titlesize to 10 in User Variables (see attached), but am not seeing an update. I know the cache can be an issue so cleared that. I see old Bananalbum video tutorials by Rudin on how to customize fonts but do not have Flash.

Essentially, I would like smaller text, not bold.

Thank you again,
Anna

AFAIK, there are no such variables in BA 7. Remember, this is a complete rewrite of the skin. None of the customization options in prior versions will work at all in this version.

Essentially, I would like smaller text, not bold.

I believe you'll have to edit the skin's CSS file (either Sans.css or Serif.css, depending upon which style you're using). The skin doesn't appear to provide any way of entering additional CSS via the user interface.

This really destroys my favorite SKIN! - now it's a terrible design... better use SLIM!
Looks similar...

Be careful - Slim is an orphan skin. Its developer has moved on, and there's no support available for it.

OK - no support, but as it is now it will work also in 10 years? - or can the developer destroy it?
I need a very basic SKIN - see sample:

Looks like i used BananAlbum before for many years...

There's no reason why the skin shouldn't operate exactly the way it does today for the foreseeable future. It's just Javascript. The developer was an intern at jAlbum, and no longer works there. There would be no reason for him to delete the skin, and even if he did, your copy would still operate just fine.

As long as the skin does everything you want it to do, go ahead and use it. But don't expect to have anything new added to it, or to have anything that you don't like changed.
