I have created a small test-project with the following structure:

Test
  |
  '-- Level 1
        |
        '-- Secret

The folder Secret is exclude and shows as such in Explore view.
But in Preview, Secret shows up in the list of folders.

A confirmed bug - if the subfolder is excluded or hidden, it still shows up in the menu. If it's excluded, clicking the link to it produces a "file not found." If it's hidden, the images are still accessible.

At the top level, folder exclusion and hiding appear to work correctly.

Alas, the developer of the skin was an intern who is no longer with jAlbum, so bug fixes are unlikely, unless someone else wants to wade into the code and find the problem.

Attachment init.bsh (5,5 KB)
I think I found the problem, and might actually have fixed it - a bit of a miracle, given that this isn't my skin, and I know little about it.

Try replacing the init.bsh file in the skin with the attached version, and see if things behave better. To get to the skin files, choose Tools, Open directory, Skin directory.

Yep, that fixed it.

Now, if you could just add video-support ;) ;)

While you're at it, why don't you wish for a pony?

That really would require extensive rewriting.
