Can anyone tell me if Lightflow is compatible with iPads?
From my searches this is the only skin that play quicktime movies AND has a lightbox.
I like it : )

It works on the iPhone, so there is no reason that it doesn't work in th iPad.

Hi,

a friend was looking on my website on his ipad2, but the scroll bar didn't work!
Does someone know how to solve this problem??

I'm using an older version (2010), could that be the problem?

thanks,
best regards, Monique

Hi

I have a new ipad 2. I'm changing my website (galleries used a flash jalbum skin, and flash is not supported by apple's browsers), and I really love lightflow, that I'm going to use for my photo galleries.
Unfortunatly, the scroll bar of lightflow albums doesn't work in the ipad, even with the last version. Everything else works, with some minor problems in the page format (maybe because of the ipad display resolution that is 1024x768).
It would be great if lightflow could become fully compatible with ipad: its "style" seems perfect for the apple device and our sites would be enjoyable by everybody.

Thank you

Marco

Hi,

I don't own an iPad so I can't see what's wrong. Can you describe the issue more in detail please?
Do you see the slider bar? Can you move the slider button but the images don't get moved with? Can you scroll the images without the slider by dragging the images?
Thanks!

Glad to answer.

Yes, the slider bar is visible, but I can't move the slider button, nor move the images acting out of the slider bar near the images, nor drag the images. I have also tested without the scrollbar, with and without image's reflections, but nothing changes.
It seems I can't "grasp" the slider or the images with the finger: if I try to do it, the whole page moves.
I'll be happy to make other tests if you need.

Thank you

Marco

Thank you for the details! Did you use LightFlow's registered version? I ask because an iPhone user told me that it worked only with the registered but not with the unregistered version. It could be a layer (z-index) issue. Hmm, I think I need to get an iPad soon to verify this issue and to fix it! I keep you up to date.

PS: I forgot to say: if you don't have yet a registered version, please contact me by e-mail (see in LightFlow's About tab), so I can send you one for testing purposes.
Thanks!

Thank you, I use a registered version. At least, this excludes that the problem is in registered/unregistered version.
I can not wait to hear news about the solution!

Hi.
I've had the same problem, that using an iPad, you cannot use the bottom scroll.

Also when clicking on an image to enlarge, the play button works. But the forwards and backwards buttons don't work.

I'm using an unlicensed version currently to check whether it works in my website.

I've checked the gallery on Safari and it works fine, apart from its much slower than on other browsers.
This is a fantastic skin if you could get this working.
Many Thanks
Gemma

I have good news: I got an iPad for this weekend and I was able to reproduce the issue. After some hours of investigation, I convinced the iPad to do what it have to. Now it works :)
I'll integrate it into the next version of LightFlow.

If I use my iPad and view my site in a vertical format, I see everything. If I use the iPads a horizontal format, I don't see the Footer bar and I can't scroll to the bottom to display it. Can this be fixed? If I have a client using an iPad in a horizontal display, they will not see all of my information.
