Do a file compare on your current shoppingcart.xml and the latest shoppingcart.xml. If you find any difference, implement those changes to your version. res/config.xml is build using config.htt. As mentioned before, if you've made any changes to this .htt , you'll need to redo those changes.

Wow, User guide is up. Does it mean V 3.1 is a final version then? or should we wait for a couple of more weeks for your final touch of the V3.1?

Oy! Lovely piece of work, this!
Not able to get it going, mind you, but I think it might be because I've upgraded to Vista.
Running Jalbum 8 (downloaded 10 minutes ago)
I can create an album in any other skin but attempting to select FotoPlayer 3.1 as a skin gives a Java error. Details follow in hopes it's an easy fix (maybe on my part). I've already thrown Jalbum into Windows XP SP2 compatability mode as that was what I was running under before upgrading OS:

Exception caused by line 854: java.lang.NullPointerException: Null Pointer while evaluating: defaultmp3s.length

Sourced file: inline evaluation of: ``import edu.stanford.ejalbert.BrowserLauncher; import java.io.File; import se . . . ''

The default mp3 location (FP skins folder res/mp3s) path is stored as part of your project settings (.jap file). When you port this file to new machine or upgrade OS, the skin folder path might not be same and is causing the problem I guess.

Open Mp3s tab in Jalbum FP skin settings, delete the existing files listed , click "+" to add mp3 and point to foreignparticles.mp3 in FP skin folder, use JAlbum menu File->Save Album project as' and save the settings as fotoplayer.jap on your desktop. Close, reopen Jalbum and load this project file and rebuild the album.

Just wondering, I've recently purchased a licensed version of 3,0 Pro, would I get a licensed copy of 3,1 (when it comes out)? Or would I have to purchase another licensed copy?

Thank you,
jostd

Navigation Tree
[...edited... didn't realize that the pro version already supports my ideas...]
I do agree with the notion that the tree should be opened into the folder that the album is opened into.

One minor bug I noticed: when auto-sideshow is on, and one selects a movie (flv), the movie is stopped after the 7 seconds or so slide duration, the viewer moves on to the next item and also the progressbar in the movie control flickers.

FP doesn't auto stop the slideshow based on the slide format (image or video). I would suggest to keep all the movies in one folder and after building the album, edit photos.xml in the movies folder (Jalbum output directory) and set startslideshow="N" in gallery tag.
<gallery startslideshow="N">

This will disable slideshow start for movies folder.

Skin modified to use Jalbum preferred variable reference as ${variablename} instead of $variablename.

Skin updated to recognize JAlbum image as well as folder titles (Jalbum 8 uses .jalbum/.info for storing folder title. Prior versions uses meta.properties). You can select 'jalbum title' as a source for Title in skin->options tab.
