Hi the forum,

I made an album with both images and mp4 videos. I'ts working fine on my local computer and of the webserver from my qnap-nas. But from the online internet server (free.fr) the videos are not starting.

The thumb don't appear on the startpage too, see the link:
http://neuwegpimbo.free.fr/2017/jumelage/index.html : it' the 5th item.

Any idea ?
(the video support is turned on in the jAlbum preference settings)

Thank you, Thierry

Love to help, but I can't get to your site at all. The connection times out. I don't mean it's slow - I mean it returns zero bytes. Nothing at all.

Doing a ping against neuwegpimbo.free.fr produces 100% packet loss. No problem pinging free.fr.

OK.
Please try a ping to perso153-g5.free.fr (212.27.63.153) (see attachment)

But did you have an idea why the videos are not starting ? I have to load a video player with the jalbum ?

No joy:
Pinging perso153-g5.free.fr [212.27.63.153] with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.

Ping statistics for 212.27.63.153:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),

Sorry, but I can't debug a screenshot. Only the browser console will tell the story. And no, no video player is needed. Tiger just uses the browsers' native <video> tag.

Hi,
So, everything is working. The video files contained non-web-safe characters ... :-(
Now it is OK.
Thanks.

I suspected it might be something like that, but couldn't be sure without seeing the site.

Still getting 100% packet loss, BTW. I'm in the U.S., and wolf-skate is in Denmark, and is apparently seeing the same problem. You might want to have a chat with your web host.
