FireFox cannot find some html files

Attachment jAlbumLostPics.jpg (28,4 KB)
Using 10.5.2 in Win7. Working up new album, after adding new photos & captions some photos display their filename and not the thumbnail. FireFox reports it cannot find these html photo files - but they are there, correctly named in the output folder. Within the album builder screen they work as all others; picture & caption, etc.

Attached sample of what happens.

Any ideas.

Thank you.

The problem is the "#" sign in the file name. That symbol has a special meaning in a URL, and should never be used in a file or folder name:

Well - you live, you ask questions, you learn. Many thanks EO.

I see that "#" is used for making an anchor tag.

Yes, exactly. So you can see why, when you use it in a file name, hilarity ensues! ;)

Is it ok to use an exclamation sign first to make the image appear first in the group? I'm having to manually move some of my images because they are not being sorted in the order that I have them in. Image IMG_0026 is not being placed before IMG_1634 as it should be. Do I have to manually move an item to make it first on the order?
THanks

Using punctuation in a file name is almost never a good idea - too many opportunities to break things.

IMG_0026 should be before IMG_1634, unless you've told jAlbum to use some other sort sequence. In the Explore window, right-click between thumbnails somewhere, choose Order by, then choose Name.

You can choose the default order under Album > Settings > Pages > Image ordering, but if you manually move any images around, the default order no longer applies. jAlbum assumes you are now doing a "custom" order.

Also, see here for what actions result in custom ordering.
