Kiosk mode, is when only the album I am importing images into is available to the end user. This would be someone at an event that I had just taken their photo.

They could then browse the images and order but not be able to go anywhere else on the laptop.

I don't think you can implement that through jAlbum, but you might be able to set up a secondary user on your computer and restrict the user to only run a browser.

I am not sure how you can restrict access to other websites without also removing the possibility to order online, but perhaps it might be possible to organise this in safe way !?
