I did set user variable maxImageWidth=30000 for slides 7, 9, 11 and 18 of this ClassicAligned2 test album but I wonder what the supposed effect is: I can't scroll or grab the panoramic image on my Windows 10 PC with the Chrome browser.

How should I handle panoramic images in your skin?

There is no effect and no magic scrolling or grabbing involved. The "Panoramic image" setting simply tells jAlbum to overrule its specified album wide image bounds setting (e.g. 720 x 540) and scales each image with the "Panoramic Image" checkbox checked to the jAlbum specified image height but with a panoramic width. The resulting generated image would measure eg. 8500 pixels width and 540 pixels height instead of (which jAlbum would generate without this setting) 720 pixels width and 46 pixels height.
