thanks for explaining that, I thought if I dragged the html file onto the same location it would be moved to the root when I clicked the upload button on the application. I will give this another go when I get back in a bit.
Not a problem. This falls somewhat outside of the normal use of jAlbum, so it can be a little murky if you haven't done it before! If you get truly stuck, one of us can provide step-by-step instructions, with screenshots.
I like FileZilla because I can see what I'm doing - my PC is on the left, the server is on the right, and I can navigate around in each place, then tell it to upload (or download) files.
The jAlbum uploader will do the job, but it's not really built to be a general-purpose FTP client. It's built to handle normal album uploading, which this ain't!
