Deleted albums appear in search results

I deleted some of albums but I noticed that they still appear in search results
see. http://jalbum.net/fi/search/albums/arit , album 1943 - 2002 is removed
but cover photo is shown even though link is not working (Album not found).

How can I permanently remove the albums so that even their cover photo thumbnail is not shown at all?

When did you delete the album?

You might just have to wait a day or two, until the jAlbum site updates its search database.

OK, thank you. I deleted the albums and waited couple of hours. Does anybody know for sure how long the delay actually is?

Some patience obviously needed... Deleted albums late last night, this morning cover photos disappeared from serch results.

No. Not even me who programmed it.

The search index is updated every 8 hours, so it shouldn't take longer than that. But exactly when that happens is not possible to say. And it differs between servers, so reloading the page might give a different result.
