If you like to scroll through a panoramic picture, you have to supply image dimensions which are larger as the standard images in the album. To do this, I enlarged the image dimensions of panorama pictures with jAlbum in Edit Image with variable

maxImageWidth=30000

Ctwist had the excellent idea to do this in a more user friendly way via a check-box in a new Panorama custom panel:

He will implement that in the Mirage skin in the future.

I tried to implement this with the help of ctwist in the Slide Show 4 skin, which can automatically scroll panoramic pictures, see this thread. i did succeed to get a sometimes (but not always) working version, tha code is showed in the thread. There is still an initializing problem I think.

However this extension has nothing to do with a skin, so it is more efficient to implement this in the nucleus of the jAlbum program.
In that case it can be used in all skins and it can be implemented in the most effective way by David and his team.

I got a better idea, see this thread!

This function can now be implemented with the PanPlugin.
