Yea, we've all heard, "Think Big," but maybe we should go in the opposite direction. Take a look at this . I thought the photos interesting. More details can be found here (should that be Matrix?)

At first I wondered how he managed to avoid all of the pulverized plastic that's mixed in with beach sand these days, until I read the article more carefully. He picks out the grains he wants, then arranges them for their photo shoot.

(Nice slider effect on the lightbox captions, better than most. I'll have to make a note of that one - Shadowbox - for possible future use, though like Highslide JS, it seems to have been largely abandoned by its developer.)
