Changes in the Interface

I'm a bit mystified by changes in the interface for JAlbum personal sites since 8.5. It's a fairly basic comment but I searched and couldn't find anything relevant.

I have many albums organised into folders and subfolders. It used to be that you selected individual albums you had published to add to your JAlbum web site. You could then add an overall image, comments, widgets etc. The only thing missing for me was a manual sort order (well, maybe two separate locations would have been useful too).

Now it seems to come up with just the root albums rather than the subalbums and in my case some of those are hidden. Is there a way back to the old view? Am I missing something here or is this the way things are now?

Regards,
Murray

Short answer, no.

The new "look and feel" is how things are now.
Be mindful that what you can see now is the initial release. Version two is due to be released soon and this is meant to give users more control over customization.
I have not seen this next release, but I am assured that it will give you some more control over how your albums are displayed.

OK, thank you. I guess I'll just have to wait for that.

I have seen that the next version of the home page is scheduled for release this week so you should not have that long to wait...
