Absolutely incredible and practical idea.

How does the finished album indicate a specific original is available? In a sample ShowOff album, I checked 3 of 10 photos to include the original. I can tell which ones they are by hovering my mouse over them and seeing a "hand" (link to original), but is there another (more obvious) way? There must be some snippet like;

<IF original exists, then insert print image here, ELSE skip>

that could be used in a skin.

Are my advanced coding skills evident here?

There is (sorry for not saying). You can write:

<ja:if exists="includeOriginal">Original exists</ja:if>

<ja:if exists="originalPath">
   indicate the existence of an original image for printing here
</ja:if>

Assuming I have an Image Directory and a separate Output directory, and have incorporated the above code and by default select "Link to Scaled down images only." : If I select an original to be included, I then must go to the Navigation tab and also check "Copy Originals" to find a copy of that original in my Output directory when I make the album. It does seem that only the selected image is copied, but that second step is required.

Is there some code that can go with the above to 'automatically' check "Copy Originals" in that instance to cover selected images?

It would seem if I individually select an original or two via the right click option, Jalbum would automatically know to "Copy Originals."

You're pointing out a problem that many users don't investigate what's under the right click menu. What if hovering a thumbnail in jalbum reveals, not just an "Edit" button, but also buttons for including originals and for "Use as folder thumbnail"?

Supplying originals with albums is a great way to have the images print better + you get a backup of your originals. I wish this was a more used option.

ShowLite makes use of "Include Originals" with a download icon when image selected. Might be nice to somehow combine Include originals with Shutterfly, etc. Now you have to have download option AND print option. Printing (originals) probably belongs in a widget IMHO.

Back to original issue-hover would work for me. I just saw "empty space" along the top row and thought since you can rotate an image there why not include original (which then would also permit a 'tool tip' on what it does). I see that now if you select an original, the original is automatically copied to the album. That's a change from the beginning-before you also had to check 'copy originals.'

I'd go along with about anything on "Use as album folder." Right now I get confused AFTER I have already selected a thumbnail to represent a folder, how to unselect it? I'd like something simple like: check box to say, check to include as folder thumbnail, uncheck to exclude as folder thumbnail.
