HDR

HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography is a technique which adds a much deeper color range and contrast to your pictures. Once you have started on this technique you will use this more and more on various subjects. To make such HDR you take 3 identical pictures (threepod required) with minimal 3 steps exposure (-2, 0 and +2) or even 5 steps (-2, -1, 0, +1, +2) in RAW. It is very exciting to only find out the result of your picture after you have gone through the required steps in a HDR programme (such as Photomatix) on your computer. The result may be stunning.
